A quandary, I need help.....

Mate, I think they already have! :sunglasses:

… time to re-spray mine back to original then eh!

Just keep the car you have ade and save yourself a shed load of hassle and money, especially if you are going to buy the S1 Exige and then mod it. It too will be worth less than a VHPD one if you come to sell on again,it will not be easy to turn it back to standard once you have fitted the Audi engine etc. You will have the same dilemma that you are having now .
All the above will not matter if you have loads of cash to spend and it does not bother you, Sounds as though you have a great spec car already

The S1 Exige is not on PH this afternoon, has it been sold ?

No, he has taken it off sale, he had had enough of waste of timer callers :frowning:

Sure he would still sell if you turned up with the cash

 nuff said Ade

I also think you should keep what you have. All the work is done, just drive it.

I am also of the mind that doing an engine conversion on a standard S1 Exige isn’t the way to go anymore, I think you will end up hurting its value. If you want an Audi powered S1 Exige, then convert an S1 Elise, if done well you will be in profit at the end of it, I know of two cars that qualify here. Nicely converted S1 Elises, both have north of 500bhp and look lovely.

Well it is official, the car i was looking at yesterday was not in the condition i was hoping for, there was not suitable movement on price to make up for this. This does mean I will not currently be splitting up my car into bits. This does not now mean I won’t in the future.

Tell me about these cars, are they for sale?
