Looks good as a 1280x1024 wallpaper, how about changing the revs as Mike says Mark, then it will really look cool

Yeah no problem, I was thinking that 7500 for my standard car seems a reasonable place to change up

What do you guys reckon then? 8000rpm? Or I was also thinking “At WOT, no one can hear you scream”… But I don’t know how common the Wide Open Throttle acronym is?

Also if you want as a higher res wall paper I can resize it so all the writing will remain nice and neat

Well i guess to be fair it should read 7800 rpm but mine does rev to 8500

oh yes 2 versions please, one at 1024x768 and the other at 1280x1024

Can you create a version in 1600x1200 with 8500 rpm??

Thanks for the offer Ian, but MarkD has already come to the rescue, I picked up his cat last night and it will be fitted on Friday for a retest on Saturday

And 7500 (or 7800 max) is Ok, otherwise they’ll hear you scream, yes, whenthe engine goes BANG!

Thinking about it, is this strictly true?? Aren’t our cars louder slightly further down the rev range?

Thanks very much, started life as a artist (any excuse to bum about “colouring in” )

As this is a very large pic (~250k @ 1600 x 1200) but has the 8500 rpm and a now revised horizontal glow
