Yeah it was not pretty. As we’ve progressed its further reinforced my view that this was certainly a timely activity to undertake. The fact that a few choice bits have made their way into the rebuild is just a bonus. Hopefully as you say it will be all set for another 10years of enjoyment.

Unfortunately I could not get a decent fuel-rail in anodised-gold to top it off I did get the carbon spark plug cover though…obviously.

I have got a few more sheets of the gold going into mine.
