Ahhh that’s better. Apparently it was pretty corroded on the rear bulkhead panel behind the fuel tank which was cleaned off and treated with zinc spray.

Add a cheeky slippy diff as the gearbox comes back together

Matt accidentally sent my new Tullet exhaust off to Zircotec :laughing: Tempted as I was by white, I thought black would look better for longer and was cheaper albeit not quite as effective.

No don’t worry we’re not gonna go mental. Sticking with 3.4" and then K24 bottom pulley is where we ended up IIRC.

Well that’s all starting to look rather yummy!! I really don’t envy Matt having to do your bulkhead either, as it’s a real shitter of a job. Can’t wait to see it all starting to go back into the engine bay now.

I’m writing out a full plan of action for my car at the minute, now that I’ve got some enthusiasm back. The list is getting long now, but like yours, she’s going to come back a lot bigger, better and stronger!!

Thanks boys. Yeah its gonna be quite a machine! Based on recent dyno-precedent I reckon about 340@hubs too, we’ll see. I just picked some nice bits, it makes what it makes.

Looking good Ben, its amazing how things out of sight can deterIorate so badly over the years.

The 160 was 10yrs old when i pulled it apart for its rejuvenation but is good again now for another 10.
