Cracking car, good luck with the sale and look forward to seeing the new wheels…
Cheers Ben … whatever the new wheels are, rest assured they will be connected together via an LSD
looking at summat Quattro as a daily+track car now …but i change my mind on a daily basis !
What happened to the Evora thoughts?
Quattro on a track car:
Yeah youll soon wish you had kept the exige…
Jonnyboy doughnuts in a 4x4 lol shame on you. Evora mate, you’ll be gutted you didn’t…
Thirst of the Evora kinda puts me off …been looking into a 370 Z but thirst again puts me off as I do a lot of miles.
I deffo only want to run just one car not two though.
any thoughts on an Audi TT anyone ?
360 bhp and 4x4 must be a good starting point and I can’t help thinking just how tuneable the Audi lump is …
GAY
But 4 wheel drive and an attainable 500 odd horsepower is something to be gay for !!
Evora S is mid 20’s on a run, NA is high 20’s.
S ROCKS, to paraphrase jonny
360hp TT will cost a lot.
500hp TT will cost a lot of lots!! And break all the time. And use all the fuel that you can put in the tank.
And still be gay
TT is just a golf with it’s part time 4x4, so understeer city
fine if you want a isolated road car that can grip in the snow
E92 M3? C63?
I did have a quickish Golf mk 3 once …
played around with tyres/settings and managed to get rid of the understeer …
M3 maybe more up my street ??
TT even an RS is a bit meh for me if you’re going for a one car strategy. I’m sure they’re quick but ultimately a bit of a one trick pony, andif you’re concerned about thirst…
My one car list would be :
- Cayman/S
- Evora/S
- 135i or 1M
- E92 M3
Probably in that order to try tbh. The latest Cayman looks really resolved and classy to my eyes and are supposed to be a superb drive. They always seem to go well on trackdays. Bit boring in a way but having one car only is always gonna involve compromise bud.
I suggest you do not get a Nissan GTR. The instructor at the track yesterday said they get 2mpg round Bedford.
My Mum had a TTS.
My Mrs has a TTRS remapped with 400bhp, they go well, make an awesome noise and damn sight cheaper to repair etc than an evora. Yes I do drive it from time to time, and im not gay.
This is a thread about JFK having one car, you have nothing to add here We should catch up Christian…

Interested to hear comments from people on here…
Is the understeer a problem or just driving style ?
After all most Lotus Elises understeer from the factory !
