If you mean the supersport wheels (which are basically the same as the 240R’s but with the face of the spokes machined out) then yes they are much rarer and I dont think I ever seen a set come up second hand.
However, I personally think the plain 240R are the nicer looking wheel of the two (supersort look too fussy), followed by the 7 spokes.

What the later Cup 260 style?
I’ve seen a few sets pop up on eBay, but don’t like them enough to replace the plain 240R type.
Do you mean the 2010 cup260 wheels?? I searched and found a pic of the supesports and they look exactly like the 2010 cup wheels. If thats the ones you mean there is virtually no difference in weight (well not when I put them on the scales)
I thought the Lotus forged wheels with 7 pairs of forged spoked are a lot lighter than the 240 wheel. I gathered my facts from Seloc so they may be wrong. Either option looks nicer than the Y spokes.
Just paid for the first batch of wheels.
So a very very expensive pallet loaded with 240R rims should be with me on Thursday…
Now i have a problem…should i use a set or two on my car???
Doh, bit of a blonde moment there!!!
Yes put it behind me until my ‘friends’ remind me.
Double check things now and if in doubt I’m out!!
Had a couple since where i have not sent the parts, sent emails to say please contact me with no reply so parts stayed with me…
