Looks good, love that 10 spoiler!!
I have now decided not to do mine at all, I was going to add the roof scoop the 2010 spoiler and I had priced up the 2010 splitter, I was going to modify the splitter to fit mine. But I now need to save my cash for the gearbox work and I have just agreed a price on a new house so all my cash is going into the house for a while Wonder if anyone else was considering the splitter as well?
I do like that wing! Not sure you could leave the old mounting points bare on a brighter coloured car, but I’m sure I could do something to make it acceptable. I’d still like to see some better pictures, including front 3/4 of the whole car.
So, the biggie… is anybody going to try the front splitter?
The front splitter will take some work to make fit as the clam is very different, also they are 180 each side so not very cheap either
I thought N17VES said it would fit? I guess that was pretty unrealistic considering how different the front end is.
At that price, it’s nowhere near the same impulse purchase that the wing is! I could definately be tempted by a wing
I agree, not quite so easy to justify and I was surprised how much it was considering the price of the spoiler kit. I was going to carbon wrap the splitter and cetre section of the spoiler and paint the roof scoop and wing end pillars, but now there is no cash so my car will end up rare as it won’t have a 2010 spoiler

I was told that there was 2 part numbers for the 2010 front spoiler, one for the later clam - No idea if it will fit. I personally don’t like the front spoiler of the 2010 anyway so will stick the orignal.
Thats excatly what I’m doing - vinyl wrapping the spoiler blade and front splitter.
Just received my extended scoop at the weekend, so just need to get it booked into the bodyshop now.

Not sure about that, I think the 2 part numbers are for the 2 sides left and right
I think your right about the part numbers Ade, I saw one yesterday there seems to be quite a big step where they join in middle, it didn’t look great I’ll be honest
If it had been 150 inc VAT for both sides I might have bought them to have a go at making them fit, I like the section that covers the leading edge of the front wheels, this is a really bad aero part of the front of the S2, if I had any level of skill in fibreglass I would make a mold to retro fit a similar element on the front of a normal pre 2010 car.
With regards to the carbon center, there was a guy on here who was making carbon stuff for the exige.
I did swap a few emails with him but I cant find them and I cannot remember his user name, however I bet if he got his hands on the center of the 2010 spoiler he could start knocking out carbon centers which would be miles better than the flexy grp.
A quick link to the pictures I took including the reinforcing bar, will do a description later.
I never found a wobble on the grp original altho I never gave it any real stick (like trying too hard to bend it - cars too new!)
I had the carbon one made by a mate who works for a small output sports car manufacturer in germany…cant say which firm - he’ll get the boot!
On looking at those pictures again it looks more like a carbon wrap, are you sure your mates not done you?
Quick sneaky pic of of my new spoiler…
Will get some better photos tomorrow in daylight, but loving the new look so far. Just a complete pain now to get anything in and out of the boot lol.
Thanks to 21GG for the measurements - they proved to be very useful.
Very nice, look forward to some more picy’s.

He works for a firm that defo dont use carbon wrap on their cars. Their base model costs over 100k so they wouldnt touch wrap crap. Anyway don’t bring it up…that effing deer smashed it to pieces so I’ll be back with the grp one whenever i get the car back from my dealer.
Took some better pics today in the daylight…
That looks cool, Any close up pics of the carbon wrap? I am considering that look for mine. (If I ever get it done as I am on a spending ban).
Cheers - really happy with the wing, transforms the look IMHO.
The wing is in finished in satin black, not a carbon wrap. Although the plan is to get it wrapped - Actually just got a piece of 3m carbon wrap though the post thi morning to experiment with.
