18x11 wheels, -18 offset, 315/30 Toyo R888's

Probably a bit overkill, but…

Jeez , look at them , they look better than half a foot of spacers , it will be interesting to know how these GT3 conversions corner compared to the normal S2 .

Wide boy

Look my car is already on the ramp

Greg - any idea what size your going on the front yet? I was hoping I go 225/45/17 as I’ve got a brand new pair of ao48’s off the rear of mine. Just not sure if it will be too wide on the front. God knows what these cars will handle like when done :s

you putting an LSD on this?

very interested to see how they handle

I’d be more inclined to go for a more modest 265 or 275

265 is what I have in mind for mine. Scared of breaking a driveshaft or something as it is.

And your gearbox is on the floor, I helped get it out

It has a Quaife LSD in the box already

Pah just read in Evo that the Henessy thing has 345 section rears…should have gone bigger!

At the minute it looks like you can only run 205/40/17 or 225/45/16 on the front as the ride hight will be too big with anything else.

I was originally hoping to run 235/40/17

cool, didn’t think john was starting it till next week

Told you, you need a set of 240r rear rims for the front Greg!

Dave a seriuosly is selling them individually…

Oh look at my lovely forged braids on the rear, oh now look at my lovely cast rotas on the front…

doesnt quite have the same ring to it…

Seriously, a set of the 5 spoke 240rs is what the car desrves mate!

No stealing mine while my car is on the ramp!!!

If you want to just try them you can though, might give you an idea if they would even work given the offsets etc

I do love the look of those Braids, just wish you didn’t have to sell a few internal organs in order to afford them.

Yeah that. They do look look good though

I was all set for Braid in the gunmetal finish, but couldnt bring myself to spend 5k on wheels…not compared to the value of my car anyway.

Any reason why you didnt go TD’s?

The 240R rears aren’t a good fit on the front, they are too wide.

They are 8 inches wide with a 38 offset, where I need more of a 7.5 inch wide wheel with a 40 offset.

Rota do this wheel which should be a good off the shelf fit…

With a 17 inch front though I would need to run a 205/40 tyre to get the right ride hight, where as if I went for a 16 inch I could run a 225/45 tyre.

I can’t find a suitable off the shelf 16 inch wheel though with the right width / offset / pcd.

A 235/40/17 is just too tall to get a 110 front ride hight. :frowning:

Have you actually offered a 240 up?

no of course not
