You Say Splitter I Say Spoiler

Tell me if I’m wrong but, standard exige has a front spoiler to which you can fit a splitter

spoiler is made from fibreglass/carbon fibre
splitter is made from nylon or similar which bolts to the bottom of the spoiler

I think they may both be called a splitter. Otherwise I don’t think you’re wrong.

Yes mate I agree with whatever you said!!!

That just makes things confusing

I have decided I will refer to the spoiler as a spoiler and the splitter as a splitter because that just makes sense

We all know what you mean so I’d agree with that… but its possibly a bit of you say toma(y)to I say toma(h)to

I think the terms are interchangeable, its just that they used to look like this [image]http://us1.webpublications.com.au/static/images/articles/i556/55649_3mg.jpg[/image]

where they were also called air-dams… for obvious reasons

Now they look like this [image]http://www.formule2.com/stranger/DTM2005/2005-6mcnish-audi.jpg[/image]

As a result of the Adrain Newey’s of the world gaining better knowledge of the black arts…

I would describe it as an air dam but agree with Sean.

air dam is so 80’s
sounds prehistoric

spoiler is the new air dam
