Dear all, hello !

I’m french and owner of a S1 Exige, right and drive (a UK one)and a very enthusiast of !!.
I’m wondering one thing about the tires that we need to use on the exige. What do you think about the use of Yokohama A048R instead A048 LTS ? Is there a big difference between theses, and is it dangerous for safety ?

Welcome, mon ami

No problem using the A048R - it is the “control tyre” for the Lotus On Track Race Series web page

I had heard the Rs can wear down quicker than the LTS (presumably they’re softer). I understand they do Toyo 888s in the right sizes if the Yokos are hard to get.

I run A038’s on my 340R, how would you say these compare to the A048’s?
