Good grief!
Call me a wuss, but I’ve said for a long time that there’s no way I would drive there, unless it was on a proper “closed” trackday. A lot of people don’t seem to realise that their road insurance doesn’t cover them, even though it is a public road.
The one downside to the ring.
Twats who go off and don’t inform anyone about the fact they have dropped coolant or oil on the track.
Personally my days at the ring have greatly diminished. I’ll still go but I’ll very specifically avoid weekends and especially UK BH weekends when all the Top Gear and EVO fanboys go over and act like tossers.
