Did I imagine it or did I read somewhere that the Toyota motor was designed and built by Yamaha ? If so I guess that why it likes to rev. Now done about 400 miles, dying to get into the revs but being patient. Car’s running fine in the cold but it does take a long time to warm up and de-fug, even with the aircon on. Still virtually no problems, very un-Lotus like !
Correct - I think the recent pics of the 240R cup car engine show the Yam name on the side of the engine.
Completely irrelevant, but the engine in my Puma is made by Yamaha.

Plassy Cam belt cover on my Mister 2 (1994 Facelift UK 2.0 NA Version) has Yamaha Embossed all the way across it???
