Xmas present ideas...

Ok for once I’m totally stuck as to what to buy, I’ve gotta buy for:

Mrs Muu
My Parents (Mrs does hers)
My Sister (easy enough, just anything from urban outfitters)

Ideas guys?

This thread I’m going to following…You’re as bad as me

well I was gunna guy her an HTC phone, but then she upgraded anyway. Doh

I’ve announced what I want and it’s a 2bular exhaust

I give my wife the Demon Tweeks magazine and tick it like I used to the Argos book when I was -16

I might cheat and see what my money buys me at the jewelers

Well, for Mrs Muu it’s obviously a nice parfum (try Eau des Merveilles from Hermes) or a kindle if she reads a lot. Jewelery always goes down well and there’s a nice little item in today’s Times glossies about how to buy it for the missus.

Parents always love a well framed family portrait (even if there are no little Muus) plus a bottle of their favourite tipple.

I wouldn’t buy clothes for your sister. Take her shopping instead, for the urban item of her choice. She’ll love it, and you.

You know it makes sense…

Looking at one of these Garmin GPS runners watches, as she’s a keen runner (fuck knows why, boring as hell if you ask me) and looking forward to getting back into it post injury (currently got a moon boot on).

For sister I’ll ask the brother in law, sure he can give me a heads up.

Dad… anything architecture or porsche related goes down well.

The Garmin is all singing all dancin’ but quite bulky, perhaps even more so on a woman.
I bought a Suunto and use a shoe pod. They claim it’s within 95% accuracy of a GPS. Good enough for my needs but if you want to map your run onto Google when you get home then you need the full GPS stuff.
Off the top of my head I think I got it from heartratemontors.co.uk, or something like that. Excellent service and price.

How to diffuse a potential bombshell… trust you Mike

You could make a nice family calender over the internet…that works for the parents.

I have a similar watch coming from Costco as I run also and you could get some Nike running glasses for the summer.

A little bit of caviar and some Thornton’s champagne truffles works for my missus.

Dont bother buying presents - its over rated!!
You buy s–t that nobody wants but they still smile and say thank you!
They buy you s–t that you dont want etc etc etc
Tell everyone not to buy you anything, they do the same.
SPEND THE CASH ON YOURSELF, you get what you want and so do they
Jobs a carrot
No im not bah humbug

Got a Nike+TomTom watch myself-looks good enough to wear as a normal watch and does everything a runner needs.Very compact(like an S1).I still run 10k 3times a week at 63-try it!!!Bought it for myself-best way.

You need a trickle charger if you are having problems getting the car started

What a sensitive soul you are, Mike. And a gentleman.
