WTF - Flaking Grill Paint and Stuck Divers door!

Car’s virtually brand new and the black paint on the grill on top of the bonnet is already flaking off…mentioned this to the dealer in edinburgh and he said they all do that sir!

On top of this the drivers door wont open…the lock/button on the outside seems to be stuck in.

Anyone else suffered these faults?

Anyway off to Lipscomb for some moaning and see if they can fix the car sharpish…need it for some works driving this week!

The grill paint does do that but am surprised on a new car, previous ones Ive just wired brushed and hamerited.
As for the door, Ive just had this on a new car after its first service, I think its down to the greese and cold temperatures. I could see grease round the outside of the button, thick as anything. I sprayed a little penatrating oil (wd40) round the outer edge of the button to disolve the excess and its been fine since. Either that or use the standard issue hair dryer to warm it up!
Gav

id agree with gav on this, the locks do get stuck if outside in freezing temps, quite funny really lol. i normally solve it by deicer or warm water.

with the flaking it does happen i have seen it on some cars however not on a new one
