Wow - sorted !!

Just got back from Bernard’s after a bit of ducting and reprogramming…

Car now showing the lowest inlet manifold temp that B has ever seen… (Pun intended - The Graemlin is called ‘cool’)

That has allowed 1.5 BAR boost instead of 1.1 BAR

Performance is back to ‘pure mental’ after the ‘only very fast’ that you saw at Croft…

VAG rules - OK ?

Just need to put some proper rubber on now, so you can go around the bends quick too!

Did you get a bhp figure/plot (for what it’s worth)?

Ian

No plot yet - we did it ‘in the real world’

Rolling roads holding a car at level revs are tough on turbos cos the heat can overcome things pretty fast…

On the road you get a proper airflow which no fan can replicate…

We are going to double check the fueling on a RR shortly for safety, and I’ll get them to do some power runs, and maybe we’ll see 325… but I’ll be happy with around 300.

Later on at Croft I put on the 048s and was a lot faster…

Now looking at putting on 15" & 16" wheels on slicks - need to test to see if they go round my bigger disks !!!

Will try to post some photos of the car with the new scoops, and also the new audi plastic engine cover, which is real nice…

Am changing the plumbing and tidying up the body with extra grills (functional) and also putting big ducts to feed the oil cooler…

It’s project time !!!

PLeased to hear you have got the car going how she should be
