Would you class the exige as a supercar?

Discuss!

Depends on your definition of “supercar”, in my book yes

Nah, it’s an Exige, & in a class of its own.

YES; According to our insurance (we tried a number of insurers all stating the same) the factory fitted “Thatcham Alarm/immobiliser” is not considered sufficient for the Cup 260 and we had to fit a tracker system, due to the car being labelled as a “high performance supercar”

yeah i had this my car i wasnt allowed to insured if i didnt have the tracker active on the car. quite cool tho lol. i like peskys answer exiges are different but in a good way

What Mr P said

Is it anywhere near (or even in) the top of the Top Gear Lap Time chart?

That’ll be a ‘Yes’ then.

Not that Top Gear has any real credibility, but you know what I mean. Perceptions and all that…

They never tried the S1, so that must be excluded

The S2 does qualify however…

yes it sure is a supercar… it’s amazing! its everything a supercar should be none of this poncy comfort crap it does what it says

[quote=M7EXG]It’s a super car but not a supercar.

I would say so too. Especially the S1 as it was uncompromissed. But they always have lacked POOOOWWWWWWWER. 18 days to go till I can drive my 320hp upgrade…

Pesky → 10 more too go
