Wondering what is the average working week amongst us ?

To kick off I’d say the average trucker (me) does around 60 hours over the 5 days…
Just wondering ??

fk that, i do 40 hours a week, take about 50 days off a year
Paid for 39, probably do a tad more. But generally sneak a bit back here and there…

I’ve just come back off a ten week detachment. There are no shifts as such. In the last week I worked 7 days, for a minimum of 12 hours a day, and a maximum of a 20 hour day. Times have been typically similar for the entire period. A very timely post as I’m knackered and struggling to adjust to uk time. My ‘normal’ working week is around 50 odd hours. I’m an aircraft technician by trade, and Sergeant by rank. As a result I’m underpaid and (dangerously some would say) overworked.
yeah mates who are civilian aircraft techs get ushered off the premiss once they hit their hours
I do say 40, some days from home, but do spend a lot of free time watching email etc
I took 2 months off work recently, and that going to be something i’d like to do more often.
Don’t even want to think about it!!!
50 or so hours a week and rarely take any type of holiday

bugger the number of hours - its the ratio of hours to money in that counts!!!
