Hi. I was supposed to have been at donny yesterday in my exige, but was forced to do it in my mates pug 206 as my S1 exige woudnt start.
The car wont crank over, the imobiliser ‘tell tale’ apears to be working correctly.
I have tried the following:
2 Different keys
checked car battery
tried disconnecting battery and reconnecting
ignition barrel works correctly
tried ‘bridging’ the starter to crank engine, engine turns over but wont fire.
All of this leads me to think a possible imobiliser fault.
Has anyone had any common problems/cures. also i was told yesterday that the imobliser unit was behind the Stack dash, can anyone confirm this as the only unit behind my dash appears to be a blue relay. thanks. hope i make sense???
