Is it just me? The fuel reading on my stack dash can be very random. It takes ages to go up, but drops heavily under braking, then takes ages to get back up again! My Elise one was far better. No fluctuations at all…
Any ideas?

More g-forces in an Exige.
Mine moves about a lot, usually within about +/-2 litres of where it should be
Ian
That is good news then! Am using the car a lot at the moment, so am noticing lots of little bits…
Thanks!
Ed
In best Yorkshire tradition mine shows refill most of the time…
Ed hope your Exige has still got its ‘yip’
Mine used to only read refil and I had to fill up depending on the milage
But fixed that now (getting covered on nice optimax at the same time! Yummy!) and it’s much better although it still does move around a lot, even tho the tank is baffled…
…even tho the tank is baffled…
So am I

Ok…So I am being slow…Yip???
Eh?
Ok…So I am being slow…Yip???
If you ain’t got the yip, you ain’t in the club
PS It’s a noise commonly made by the LSS (suspension) when fitted to Exiges. It’s quite disturbing, until you know what it is, & can be ignored A search of this site will reveal multitudinous posts on the subject.
That’s a lie! It’s the ghost of Colin Chapman reincarnated as a mouse that haunts all unmodified S1 Exiges!
Ian
LOL
multitudonous Yip… excellent
No kiddin? So…When I go over bumps in the road, that eep noise that sounds like the bodywork is falling off…thats normal??? Really? Cool!
Any remedies?

Nitrons. But just learn to love it!
Ian
I just can’t love my yip. Mine’s really hyperactive. I reckon it’s got a secret stash of coffee and sugar. It’s constantly making a nuisance of itself.
I’d almost consider Nitrons purely to get rid of him
Mine has just the touch of an old friend that keeps in touch every once in a while.
Just like saying “hello! how are you! I’m still around, don’t forget about me!”
mine too… i’m always pleased to hear him…
