I bought some 260 cups from seriously lotus a few months ago with R1Rs for the wet.
Dave did a good deal but they ain’t cheap.
I still prefer the 240Rs , which i have 48s on.
Coordsport. I hunted around for ages and got them just before the Yen and pound went there seperate ways
240R wheels all the way especially in silver
I hate all if you 240r and 2010 cup wheel owners
Bye
Well I just ordered the ultra light weight (as they are called) 2010 260 cup wheels in satin black.
Its going to be like a different car when I get it back as it has been well and truly pimped.
Boothy
Did you decide on green or blue running lights under the sills
Blue with red
Nice choice of wheels. I’d like a tidy set but I cant be trusted near kerbs
I do like the silver ones on Ades car but mine are lighter
So Paul at CN has told you about the pink fur thats been fitted then?

I really dont know whats going on? He told me the spoiler raisers have been colour coded but I am not sure if that was the surprise or if there is something else?
Are your 260 wheels satin or gloss? I saw Tim’s last year but I was sure they were gloss.
I like them in silver on yours Ade,very nice.
Boothy, should look great with them on, im dying to know what your getting done at CN’s. Im in next thurs for the 260 upgrade but im assuming you will have yours back by then, so wont get to see it.
Its a long shot but im guessing your getting stripes, a 2010 spoiler with all the holes filled in and a big scoop am i close???
Ohh and not forgetting your red Neon’s LOL!
Mine are 240R in satin black. I think Tim’s 260 wheels are gloss.

I’ll let slip now, Paul has converted my roof into a cup roof. Its been a hell of a job tbh.
There have been some silly cheap prices banded about for conversion by other companys but we cant see how you can do it properly.
The whole roof skin needs top be removed and a new one bonded on, we looked at the after market stuff but the quality is not there and the GRP is very thin so Paul has made a mould and is doing them the same as oem thickness.
Removing the old roof skin is the ball ache as it takes forever to do and then obviously the whole thing need to be put back together again.
Paul is looking into another part that if Lotus will sell it separate will cut the labour time down but currently the job takes two days
Still at the moment we are hopeful to get the price of the complete job in for under half the cost of a new cup roof before paint.
Boothy
ooooooo very nice Boothy looking forward to seeing this, sounds like its been a nightmere, still will be worth it once you get it back and with new shoes

My 260 wheels are satin black - nice and easy to keep clean and don’t look sh*t after a bit of rain.
