Car withdrawn from sale.
Stunning car.
Do you mind to tell why you withdraw the car? How was the market feedback?
Sure. I withdrew after a lengthy bit of domestic persuasion! Mrs B was having none of it, “You’re not selling your dream car to chase the next big thing! You’ll regret this and I’m not happy with that decision”, which outlines how it went…
Im just doing the little jobs that it needed prior to sale (headlamp lens protector, geo by Rob Boston (utterly changed the car for the better)) and other stuff.
Feedback was excellent with 2 interested parties on here despite the negative rumblings on SELOC. Both knew I wouldn’t take less than a figure in the high thirties and definitely wasn’t going to accept less than the figure I gave to them. It only takes one buyer and the market isn’t flooded. I really regret messing them around, though both were kind, and wish them every success in finding their Exiges.
Ultimately, keeping it, having the best geo since I took my old Elise to Martin Edwards, and sorting the bits that were bugging me was the best thing I could have done. I’m still smitten and just need to get over my automotive fickleness. Anyway, back to the classifieds for a bit of window shopping…
Cheers,
Kurt
What fantastic support…lucky man!
I am sure you wont regret it …I,have regretted selling all my previous Lotus (well maybe not the 17) and every time I sell one I have to buy another …which usually costs more than the one just sold.
So good decision.
Have fun
Thank’s for the insight into your decision making. Obviously the Exige S1 is a very addictive car and isn’t easy to come off it .
If I remember right there was another attempt of a member to sell his S1 last year but he didn’t made it too.
