With the arrival of some decent weather over recent weekends (at least in the SE where I am) it has been a great chance to blow the cobwebs out of our cars once again!
This morning hailed sunshine and out the Exige went for a short blat…which was much enjoyed…BUT I did see a poor S2 Elise owner on the side of the A3 getting done for speeding. That I’m sure is the end of his good morning.
So just a word of warning to all of us who are so keen to get our machinery out at the start of some good weather again…the LAW is out there and eager to invoice us! Be careful, be safe!
Weather here is promising for the weekend, the car has been over at the in laws for a month while we have had work done in the garden.
Just hope it is still there and it starts
I don’t even think about taking the car out on the public roads anymore.
With all the ‘safety’ work the Police are doing it is just not worth the risk IMO. Just got my license back to 3 points and intend to keep it that way.
The only time I take the car out is early morning 5-6am as there is no-one around.
I have cunningly avoided the chances of getting myself a speeding ticket by entirely disassembling my Exige into its component parts and spreading them all over the world! Ha! Joke’s on them…
Cracking morning here in Gods own county (!), just about to head off along the A120 towards Harwich and then back home through ‘Constable country’ (not plod, but the painter).
