Only slight concern (and it might be rubbish) is that if I go with full rose joined then I’m putting additional stress elsewhere on the suspension, perhaps the ball joints?
Nylatrons don’t fit too well, to the point of being supplied with a reamer to finish the inner diameter. Can you gaurantee you are reaming in the right plane compared to the centreline of the bush?
Powerflex, easy fitting, pretty much the same stifness as OE
Rose joints. Bit of a pain to fit, more expensive, but will last longer, with better repeatability and more reliable long term.
Will I was considering the same upgrade over the winter and rose joint are the way to go, had sets on previous cars and the change is well worth it. The JSR upgrade is one of the best I’ve seen in any car ever it is such a clever idea
Had loads of issues with Nylatrons, just fitting them correctly is real PITA.
Had JSR fit a set of rose joints to the Black car and they work just perfect, cant notice any real extra harshness or road noise over the Nylatrons.
So good in fact that on my new project I took out brand new Nylatrons and fitted a set of JSR rose joints before its even moved a wheel as I want ultimate reliability …
