Good luck from me, too! I left the wage treadmill 9 years ago to work for myself. Initially self-employed but have since incorporated. Building customer relationships and seeing those develop, plus having no-one looking over my shoulder, are worth all the hard work.
Go for it and ENJOY!
Welcome to the world of 25 hour days, 8 day weeks ,no Christmasses. And deffo no holidays for years. 
BUT. You are your own boss and usually get back what you put in and more.
