Currently sat on my arse at home enjoying a months garden leave after resigning from my 9-5
Have setup my own firm with a guy from work and a friendly customer.
2016 will be a stressful year I bet.

Good luck Tim.
What does your new company do?
we design and deliver TV broadcasting systems over IP
Well done Tim. Yep owning your own business is certainly very stressful but it does have its own rewards. The very best of luck buddy
Best of luck Tim.
cheers guys, not something I’d normally post on a car forum but you lot are more like friends
Now lots of free time, wife at work, daughter in childcare, think I’ll work on the Lotus a bit!
Good luck with the new endeavour , Tim.
Enjoy all those upgrades as a company tax expense.
if only, if only
Much respect for what you’re doing Tim…with the added benefit that there’s no excuse for the car not to be ready for Anglesey
yeah deffo, cheeky shakedown day soon ben? There are some cheap weekend donny days up for grabs between now and anglesey, if you can get a pass.
Hell yeah, I’m thinking both the 1st day of the season on the 21/2 and the first noisy day on 8/3 before we get to Anglesey…I need to get my eye in There’s gonna be a LOT of track time in 2016
Well done Tim, you won’t look back I’m sure. Seems a lot on here on their own businesses in one way or another…
New here - but congrats on the new business, I did the same 14 years back and have loved every moment especially as I am now in the process of selling it out to a large multinational!!! Good luck
that’s good to hear! what is it you do?
Good luck from me, too! I left the wage treadmill 9 years ago to work for myself. Initially self-employed but have since incorporated. Building customer relationships and seeing those develop, plus having no-one looking over my shoulder, are worth all the hard work.
Go for it and ENJOY!
Welcome to the world of 25 hour days, 8 day weeks ,no Christmasses. And deffo no holidays for years.
BUT. You are your own boss and usually get back what you put in and more.
Good luck with the new enterprise.
Yeah, fair play Tim. Good luck buddy!!!
Nice one Tim and good luck … very liberating
When I started up our UK branch, sadly now closed, my ex boss sent me a card which simply said “work hard”
I still have it …
Oh how I envy you part-timers
You’d only get bored Gra, worrying because your not there
