Been there and done that!
In Montreal, Canada in 1979, freezing rain. Very subtle so no reason to think this could happen. I came donwn a hill in my highly modified Datsun 510 rally car, Nooo brakes! I have never pumped a brake pedal so hard and so quickly in my life… stopped 2 inches away from the out of control yank tank in front!
Scared the crap out of me! ONLY studs would have helped!
