Well its got to that time that I’m taking Gav up on his kind offer to rebuild the engine. Its still smoking a bit on the overrun even after I’ve had the stem oil seals replaced and valves reseated.He has promised it returned better than ever and with a few ‘toys’ added.So no more trackdays for me till March next year I guess. I will get withdrawal symptoms.JohnO

This is true Mister Pesky, however My Italian driving skills are not as finely tuned as they should be… as in it drives like b**tch except on the straight bits!!Maybe I should take time out to try and learn how to change gear from 3rd to 2nd and all before I actually get to the hairpin rather than keep fiddling with the clutch and stick then realise its tooo late!!No quips please!!!
