Wing question…

Quick question, is this a standard S1 wing, I mean I know the mounting brackets arent standard, but what about the wing itself, it just looks a bit more curvy than the standard one…

Looks like its fitted with S2 wheels

Agreed it does look more curvy but that might just be an optical illusion as the angle of attack appears to be greater than the standard due to the non-standard pylons.

Yeah I think youre probably right about that, this is the guys website (Clicky) and he appears to have been pretty comprehensive with his list of modifiche.

It actually looks like a damn nice little car:

And by God doesnt that Honda sound so gorgeous…

Its too far forward to be standard isn’t it ?

and if look through his gallery it looks to have started off as an elise that he has developed into a pretty nice piece of kit.
fair play to him for that

Do you have to change the hubs to fit the s2 wheels?

Isn’t that the Eliseparts wing?

As Steve says, it’s the Eliseparts one…

New hubs machined or adapter plates form Geary

Cheers Junks, have many owners done this, and/or is it expensive?!

I know Wayne at Pro Alloy had S2 wheels on his S1 Elise with Geary’s adapters - he hasn’t now, they are about 160 for a set I think, machining new hubs would be about 400
