With MUCH excitement I arrived at The Edwards place on Saturday night to pick up and meet my new Exige for the first time!
Garage doors rolled up, with the mean looking back end facing me, Martin started her up for me. OMG!!! It sounded like the RAF was bombing the town!!!
FANTASTC!! I was thrilled and excited. So much to learn, see, touch, and now DRIVE!
The Edwards did a fantastic effort in only a week to sort out my list of wishes and were working up till 30mins before I arrived. Thank you, Martin & Jill.
PESKY then appeared! and I now felt fully accpeted and part of exiges.com! Thanks for coming over mate
The drive down to Surrey on Sunday was uneventual, occupied mostly with me wtching the temp guage like a hawk. It did 100 deg in the M1 traffic and I was a bit concerned and suprised with that considering the big ProAlloy rad had just been put in. The other part of the trip was just watching the speedo while looking out for cameras - there are SO MANY in the UK!!! It will be great to get it over to CEE and enjoy it there without camera worries.
Walshy Day tomorrow and Oulton on Friday.
Unfortunetly today the windshield has cracked badly so I am a) concerend about doing the day tomorrow b) now looking for someone to replace in on Wednesday.
Waiting for Hofmanns to advise back if they can do it on Wed, otherwise Martins local replacers but they have to order in the screen. This is an expensive start to ownership with the clam having to be removed to replace the screen.
Any advice, anyone?

ac does work and help but all Uldis’ hole filling recommendations must be done (work for the next month when I get it home) for both heat and fumes reasons
-
the factory upgrade supersport exhaust is just too loud
there is good loud and not good loud and it falls into the latter. Giles provided the orig but for now I will be gettin some earplugs and will try the std later on (dont know how the engine will like that). -
the ride is more compliant than I expected

seeing little kids shock and awe is just super. I just want to stop and give them all a ride!
