So whilst the Exige is in having its engine gremlins sorted I asked them to have a go at some of the rattles and creaks that weren’t there pre bodyshop.
It seems that the garage that fitted the 2bular exhaust for me didn’t refit all the heat shields… and it has melted through one of the rear wheel arch lines that now needs replacing!
The garage denies all knowledge of course.

feck you are not having much luck are you. to top it off when i had my heat shields replaced it took them ages ( nearly a month) to get them in as they were on back order at lotus. i hope they dont take too long for you.
To make you feel better, mine has come back from having the front clam off and i’ve now got a clicking sound when turning right but cannot see anything rubbing. aaaarrrrgggghhhhh

Did you know that braided hose from Earls can be made up to suit pretty much any application and they charge about �30 a set!!! I was at the trade counter the other day and the bloke in front bougth a set and cut the labels off because he didn’t want his clients to realise how much people got conned for these things!! I got a set for my camper van!
