Not a Top Gear fan myself , but I see it’s returning for a very tired 18th Season, I see they are doing a run down of 2012 best cars tomorrow night , will that include the S3 ???
Set to record so I can skip some of the sycophantic drivel. I just hope the Xmas special was a taster for this series…
I / we had to turn that Xmas special OFF , after about 30 mins , it was banal
A colleague and I were walking through some offices on our way to a meeting and he was relaying exactly the same sentiment (very loudly) although he may have used the term ‘utter shite’.
Not usually a problem,…unless the office you’re walking through is the Top Gear production office and he had not realised

Whoops!!!
tonights show I thought was a return to form.
I agree, I think\hope the Xmas special was a one off to forget…
Yeah - I think it was back to a decent standard.
Was Clarkson’s comments at the beginning about the bad press related to his foot in mouth on shooting people or the quality of the Xmas special?
Although the cars really were the stars together with some excellent locations. They appeared to have cut down on the “oh look we are causing a huge traffic jam”, etc. It looks like they shot that footage, so I wonder if they did a revised edit and cut that cliched rubbish out.
awesome episode, 3 mates lapping an awesome track in supercars, mint
Also, who would drive a car built in a shed in the north of England that fast on a track?
Agreed it was a return to form.
In fairness you’d have to try pretty hard to make shit tv out of hooning across Europe and around Imola in that trio…

Good point, but it seemed a whole load less contrived

It’s nasty…
Leicester North of England try South Midlands!
Possibly assembled in UK; I maybe getting confused with Lotus cars?
