why does my handbrake warning light come on when i corner hard? i noticed it on the ring, it flickers on, but when the car straightens up it goes…is this to do with grip? anyone else have this?
as for the ring guys, it was my first time, and it was absolutely amazing, it blew my mind away! managed an 8.48 (after whole weekend trying) lol
karussel like being on a roller coaster!
Iv got some pics e.t.c, will write a little report up when i got a min!
cheers
Have you checked your brake fluid level? I believe it uses the same warning lamp.
yes its fine, will double check tomorow though, i havent checked it since iv been back
You have to overfill the brake fluid to prevent this. Just be careful to leave a little room for expansion.
ah, so its ok if the fluid level is fine then? dont want to put any more init if its not necessary…like i said it only flickers when im cornering hard.ill leave it then.cheers guys
i had this problem on my N/A but cant remember what it was… B&C have the answer if you care to give them a call
Bell and Covill the Lotus Dealers
cheers ade, exigeboy, you cant remember what it was can you? its mainly whn i take a right hander hard…
It is definitely the sensor in the fluid reservour. This happens on fast right handers if the fluid is only up to the mark. To correct it you need to overfill but leave a little room for expansion.
