Time to replace these ‘weak link’ items before the fun starts again!
Any thoughts or experiences… was thinking either the
Elise Parts ones
http://www.eliseparts.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=94_164&products_id=307
or the Elise Shop ones…
Elise Shop Lightweight Toe Link kit (Elise, Exige, 340R, VX220 all models) [TLKSA] - One of the parts that really have to be upgraded when considering high grip tyres or frequent track days! Lotus have described a similar set in the Motorsport...
Or any other thoughts/ideas??? Such as replacing the joints on either end with new ‘rose joints’??
Many thanks,
Pete.
Eliseparts fitted on mine. Those Eliseshop ones do look superb though…
elise-shop.
if you already have M6 threaded holes on the subframe (all Exiges should have them, but better to check) specify that in the order, as I got mine and the holes didn’t match the brackets.

The Elise parts one are crap IMO. I bent two in no time and I know of at least three other people who have bent them with just track day use.
The only others I have experiance of are Andy D’s, which are awesome!!!
Are any of these toe links now manufactured out of tube rather than solid bar like many I’ve seen on other peoples cars in the past?

Elise-shop ones are made of aluminium tubes. Outer joint is also aluminium alloy.

Cheers chaps, I saw the shipping weight on one of the sites as 3kg and thought it was a little portly! Just out of interest - What do the different kits actually weigh?
