Which radio should I have?

I’ve got the Woodstock DAB 53 on my 05 Exige, but seem to get the impression it should have been the 54. Wondered if this was correct?

Also, should there be some sort of security code just in case the battery goes flat/is changed?

I suppose it depends when in 05 you’re car was built. My 04 car has the 53 model. In April 05 I was in a new Exige which had a vey similar unit, but with an improved layout. Maybe that was the 54

Anyway, that car was factory fresh. Check the build date of yours, as it may be just before the change.
