Got the head off a friend’s Elise at the moment - liner in No1 cylinder is right on the height limit.
What is current thinking on the best head gasket to fit.
Handy to know as I will be rebuilding the VHPD in the Exige soon
Hi Simon,
The Land Rover head gaskets seem to be the best ones to get. There’s a standard replacement one(Payen?) and also a multi-layer + shim version.

If your liner heights are not perfect, do not use the MLS landrover gasket, use the Payen BW750 gasket.
