Spring is coming, so is shopping… On the eventuality of converting my S1 Exige, and as Lotus may some day discontinue some items (not mentionning an increasing number of car conversions which can lower the stocks), I have made my list. Everything to convert a RHD to a LHD (please don’t throw stones, it’s not done yet). My question is which dealer in UK to contact… Don’t want to know the bad ones, just the good ones… Pending that I’m looking for a certain degree of service and expertize, as I wouldn’t like to receive LHD or S2 parts (shipping rates to the continent are high enough). So if you can recommend a nice bloke that wouldn’t mind to work on an extensive list with OE numbers from 2000 (sorry do not have all the new refs), your help would be extremely appreciated. If it’s best to contact Lotus factory direct, it would be nice to know. Thank you.

BTW, been there, done that (conversion on my S1 Exige) and all you need is there (Yvo from Elise Shop is very helpful and no problems with the parts that were sent over to me):

Effectively, I’ve sent my list to Yvo, and as always, he replied quickly and accurately. I was also kind enough to tell me that he has in production for 2009 some parts needed (seat frames, footrests, panel extrusions, heater box). Having worked a few times with him, I’m 100% satisfied. So, I might go that way.
