Where to get "Exige" Front Plate

Guys,

I’m here in the states and hope to be one of the 1st to get a Fed Exige. I have a Chrome Orange on order for hopefully December / January delivery.

I like the front plates that you guys get that says “Exige”. Any ideas on where to get one.

Thanks

Hi
do you mean the visor strip that goes across the top of the windscreen? If you do then pm Mr Pesky…

I think he means the ones that are in the logo of this BBS (see up to the S1 & S2)

Nico

that thought occured to me but I don’t actually know anyone who has one of these???

Lotus?

Come to think of it, try Bell & Colvill, they run some of Lotus’ trade stands at shows. Bet they could sort you out.

Uggh…I guess I wasn’t clear. Maybe the car comes with the plate. I’m talking about the one on the splitter that says “Exige”.

I would post a picture, but I don’t think you can upload photos on this board?

Like on the car at the top left of this page?

If so, my B&C suggestion stands.

Not really - the car comes with the backing plate which actually mounts the numberplate. In the UK when buying the car “OTR” (on the road) it will come with a numberplate mounted here.

I guess you need the “Exige” file and have it made into a numberplate mount. I think someone on here may have the file electronically - weren’t t shirts made up earler in the year?

Yeah - that’s the one I’m talking about. I didn’t even notice the car at the top.

I figured this plate would be really popular with you guys because it’s in so many pictures, but it doesn’t sound like it.

I’ll check out BC.

We have to have the same registration plate front and back in the UK, so no real demand. You wouldn’t really want one for the track either, as you’d just remove it if you did anything.

Ian

I’d also guess that anyone that knows about the car would know it was an Exige.
No need to state the obvious

(and if they don’t, they’re not into cars so it doesn’t matter)
