Speak with Russ Gibbons at Lotus Motorsport tel. no: +44 1953 608507
or try Bookatrack
Both those are bang on!
Thanks!
Seems like I can get the rear tyres I need for 160 from bookatrack (including the UK VAT which I don’t neeed to pay).
So I’ll give Lotus Motorsport a call tomorrow to see what sort of price they come up with
Kuhmo ecsta’s fitted and balanced on the rear for 140 !
Both rears …

And you fooked about fitting aftermarket LSD, intercooler & roof scoop
The Fast & the Furious has a lot to answer for
Go on…tell me that the W. Midlands is a victim of climate change, & is now classed as an Equatorial Rainforest with permanently flooded thorughfares
PS If I were looking for a more “normal” tyre, I’d give the Kumhos a try too
I just got a pair of A048 rears from JCT and they cost me about 320 fitted. I looked at buying from Camskill etc etc but it’s the whole hassle of having to get them delivered then take them somewhere to get fitted - just didn’t make sense.
Ordered them Friday and they got fitted on the Saturday.
God bless NYLOC discount
I’ve just been wondering what to buy myself, I have been considering buying some A048 M’s or maybe MH’s but does anyone know how much softer these are compared to the LTS spec. I don’t really use the car one the road anymore (I have no-where to go), however I noticed that my rears were down to the wear indicators at the start of the day at Donny the w/e. This struck me as a little odd as i’ve only done 3 trackdays so far this year because of the weather?
I do want to use a softer compound on the front though as those are long gone by the time they’re only half worn.
Or maybe I should just go with the 888’s as the cost savings will soon add up over 4 sets a year?
Go for a set of ‘M’ compound 48’s they are better on track than the LTS’s by a mile. Loads more front end bite!!
I wouldn’t recomend them for loads of road miles though as I don’t reckon you would get loads of miles out of a set.
