Where do you get your lotus serviced?

My Exige is due a service and I don’t have a local dealership that I’m comfortable taking the car to.

I live in Wiltshire, near Devizes and wondered if anyone out there knows of a Lotus garage with a good reputation?

Although technically there is a Lotus showroom in Swindon which is pretty close by, I don’t really want to take the car there.

There are a couple of other specialists within a reasonable distance but all the cars history so far is from a Lotus approved main dealer so I’d like to maintain that.

From looking at Lotus’s website, the nearest one is Westover Sports Cars in Poole which is about 1hr40min from me.

Anyone got any experience of taking their car there or any other suggestions?

I take mine to Lotus Sport :slight_smile: Can’t get anyone that knows the cars better than them !!

I would imagine they are quite a long way away though!

I thought as much. Unfortunately that’s about 4hours drive for me!

I think I’ll have to look elsewhere but thanks for the info though.

Sportomotive have a good reputation and are less than an hour from you

Location
Based in Salisbury, Wiltshire on the south side of the city, 5 minutes from the city centre on the ring road and 10 minutes from the station.

I drive passed Sportomotive quite often and haven’t seen a Lotus there as far as I can remember…

I ended up going to Westover Sports Cars in Poole who I would recommend to others. They were really helpful and did my service while I waited.
