Where do i fit another Lotus ?

Sooperdooper Mike - very classy! :sunglasses:

Iā€™ve got a busy couple of weeks (Cadwell Park track day and race meeting next weekend and Brooklands Double Twelve the following weekend) so the target is about 21 June to pick the car up.

I think Iā€™d be picking it up to drive to the events!

Shame Iā€™m away next weekend seeing as youā€™re local. Have fun.

Cheers, Ian

The more you see the Evora in the flesh the better it looks. I absolutely love mine

Iā€™ve always liked the Evora from launch when I had a test drive but couldnā€™t really justify the cost buying a new one at that time, although I looked very closely and wrote about it in Chicane. The last time I bought a NEW car with my own money was in 1976 (Mk2 Escort Mexico, and even my S1 Exige had something like 300 miles on it when I bought it). I did have a deposit on a Lotus M250 though which I would have bought new. Really, Iā€™ve just caught up with myselfā€¦ and in all essential statistics the Evora is pretty close to the M250.

Iā€™ve driven at least three Evoras now so I know just how good they really are. For me, this is the most natural progression but the ten or eleven years with a S1 Exige were fantastic.

Love that Mike, what a cracking carā€¦well done!

Yep got to agree with this, yours looked great at the winter meet and kirkstone pass.

Bet you canā€™t wait to pick yours up either roll on 21st

Lovely Mike.

So, only two days to goā€¦ Canā€™t wait!

Wayhey!

Pics please Mike :sunglasses:

In my Garage!

I LOVE my Evora!. Itā€™s fab! Iā€™ve always favoured lots of cylinders and the extra two make all the difference to the driving pleasure in my opinion. I loved my Exige but this is just superb.

ā€¦and the anthracite wheels are perfect with the Lazer Blue.

PIctures soon! (when it stops raining - donā€™t mind the car getting wet but me and the camera, well thatā€™s different!)

Thats no excuse Mike lol Sunny spells

Really pleased for you Mike. You finally have your M250 (albeit 15yrs late!) and youā€™re not disappointed.

And, um, ahem, itā€™s not raining (which probably means youā€™re driving it).

Ian

OK, here it is then, chaps.

Looks fantastic Mike, you must be over the moon!

Are you gonna put the M250 plate on it? That would be a nice touch that only a true Lotus enthusiast would understand

Looks fab, Mike :sunglasses:

Wishing you & Carol many, many happy years motoring - no doubt a few Euro trips are planned?

Hi, Yes the M250 plate will be going on it which is why Iā€™m blanking it for the time being. As Ian said, to all intents and puposes this is the car I wanted to buy 13 years ago. In all essential statistics the Evora is close enough to suppose that the design brief started where the M250 endedā€¦
