As i had some performance pads fitted on the car now and it squeal SO LOUD that it will probable wakes my neighbor up, i know eliseparts sell the buffer kit that reduce the squeal but will that cure the sound or i need another sets of pads?
Buffers will stop pads “rattling”, not squealing. Afraid you need to give the brakes some welly to get rid of the squeal, which will probably return with the light use of road driving.
I have pagid pads and they only squeak a little. I used copper slip on the backs when I fitted them and the EP buffers. The only squeal when they have not been used hard for a while. Race pads do need some track action.
As said above you need to drive the car a little harder from time to time and get some heat through the brakes - all will be well again…at least for a while.
If this is too much of a faff for you then “down” spec your pads for some that have better road manners.
Sam as Pesky has said above the sticky buffers stop the pads rattling / chattering in the caliper only. The squealing is down to the composition of the pad material acting on the disc. From my experience the more track focused a brake pad, the more they squeal; less focused, they behave as a normal road car setup i.e. quieter.
Out of interest what pads are on the car?
As Harvey said, the more track biased, the more they squeak.
You can fit a large buffer to the rear of the pad, some factors and mintex used to supply them. It will give them a squishy feel for the first couple of hundred of miles until the piston bites into them though, which most people hate. Not gauranteed to fix the squeel, but normally helps.
