The new bit about having the high visibility jacket in the car is a bit wasted on you Mr P as your car is brighter than most High Vis jackets.
I would love to see a police man try explain the logic of being visible if they stopped Pesky
But seriously the bit that is being missed is that it has to be IN the car not in the boot.
worse one report said that UK cars ( only ) we being stopped and checked right after getting off the Eurotunnel the day this came in force… Welcome to France, would you like some roast lamb ? …
Not wanting to be a spoil sport but French driving is pretty abismal and road deaths huge so I’m not surprised they are toughening up.
I even accept some of their rules as they make sense and maybe we should adopt them. (I expect the Euros will make us do it anyway)
But I do think our BIB should Sort out some of their lorry drivers who seem to ignore speed limits and normal curtesy but hey we are BRITISH and play Cricket and all that (cricket) balls
