Wheel bearings - Taper or ball ?

Original bearings are taper races.Replacements supplied by specialist are ball races …Now I’m absolute convinced a taper race is far better suited for our application.Commnets ?

My choice would be taper races, especially with the loading they take!Parts manual says they are double taper A111C6002F[This message has been edited by Phil (edited 07 March 2003).]
