Wheel arch liners and engine bay heat

Just come back from Nurburgring where I put 500 miles of “ringrunning” on the new ECU.I have to say the car was stunning no misfire and still pops and flames - my driving was crap but a friend drove it and we were eating M3’s and GT3’s and the odd Ferrari ( in the corners [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]).Was a Swiss guy with a Gunmetal Exige and he was so bloody quick, spoke with him - the car was standard just with added cooling for the engine bay … - Bruno might know him ?So what happened - well all the wheel arch liners have holes in them 4 inch square, just about every pipe fell off in the engine bay due to the horrific heat and the new Elise parts quick stick stuck in 5th a bit and it smells of Mobil 1 now - cant find a leak and its not burning it so what the hell !But what a place … go there now !
