After nearly 5 years I am considering selling my Exige for either a V6 Exige on the 50/50 scheme or an Evora S . Prices seem all over the place at the moment .
2006 MY Exige Sport ( the last of the N/a made I believe) as standard car came with air con twin coolers probax harness bar. Only Mods are TRD , stage 2 and decat, all lotus original. . 47,000 miles , Could do with a new front splitter . 11 months MOT recent service by Lotus Newcastle .
Thoughts ??
Bit lower than I would hope but I understand how they are not going for what people have them advertised for necessarily
Yea agree with JF, red didn’t hold its money well compared to the optional hues (although with a deep gloss does look great) and the NA cars are somewhat shadowed by the SC
Thanks for the opinions chaps . The cheapest N/a S2 I could find for sale was an 05 plate for 20k same miles. Mine has the 2007 MY fly by wire etc but guess this no real selling point on the upside , I only paid £16,700 for the car in 2010
I think they are on the money if you want to sell it fast, if you are prepared to wait put it up for more, but the car has to then be completely mint for someone to part with the extra £1k or so
I understand where your coming from , I have not looked at the condition of other second hand cars about this age and mileage but I am guessing as we talking cars around the 10 year old mark you would struggle to find mint examples
I think your looking at £18 to £20k tops…
I sold mine within a week for £17k just over a year ago. That was pretty mint in Kwak green. I think prices have probably firmed up a tad since then… Depends how quickly you want to sell it…
Sort the front splitter and have a stab at £18,500.
TRD and exhaust will not increase the value.
