As above really. I’m about to start removing as much weight as possible from my car and thought this would be a relatively easy job.

Hi Jamie,

I wouldn’t bother trying to remove the pipes in the sills so all you have to do is use a small length of heater hose to join the two ali pipes on the front bulkhead and then just remove the whole heater unit blower fan and matrix.

Its fairly straightforward. Do you have a heated screen?

Cheers for the info, much appreciated. And yes, I do have a heated screen. Not sure I need it though with all the heat that comes from the driver side sill from the chargecooler pipes!!

Out of interest, what diameter pipe do I need and roughly how much. And how much weight will it save.

i think you can just use a bit of pipe that you take off, you only need about 8-10" of pipe from memory
