There’s a thread in the S1 section going on about TMR’s which do look very very nice on an S1 but VFM seems to be an issue.
What is the best looking, weight, VFM or even 2 out of the three of the pre-mentioned on an S2?
Allow me to start, my Volks are gold anodised but light, very light, I’ll weigh them next time I have the tyres changed (see Seloc Teckwiki). They give 8mm further off set but require a spigot ring to fit and cost pre Economy melt down 1500 but I think they are the bollox, so what do you people think look best…please add pictures
I looked at the TMR’s last week, bloody expensive and even bloody lighter!!!
As soon as I got home, I searched for your post on you wheels!!! They are indeed the dogs mate… I just WISH they did them in a 5 spoke design for the S1 as I think that just suits the car more! Both the TMR and the Speedline are both 5 spoke!
Having said all that, they look a complete BARGAIN against what else is available out there!!! I had the misfortune to pick up a Rimstock with a tyre on today… almost broke my back!!!
So, a big thumbs up from me too mate… even if one spoke too many!!!..
… nothing worse than being mentally a spoke short of a wheel !!!
Cheers buddy. I’ve never really nailed the perfect wheel on an S2 but I suppose the 240R doesn’t look too dissimilar to the TE-37. Where the TMR perfectly finishes an S1.
I have those 2010 cup wheels and got them from Dave G.
I think they may be slightly lighter than the 240R’s I have, but, the 240R is the wheel. Looks better, cleans better.

They are the Supersport wheel & correct they are very slightly lighter than the 240R wheel. Dead easy to clean, but look better in gloss black I got mine direct from the factory…

Yes, that’s a good point about the gloss. Dave only had them in satin. Once I’ve let the PF pads rip them apart I’ll get them refurbed in gloss
Cheers guys, it’s all opinions obviously but I think they look a bit cheap in gloss unless they have a silver rim.
Not convinced the 240r wheel looks better either IMHO or I would of bought those.
Yes they were from Christopher Neil’s
If I were getting them re furbed though I would go gloss black and silver rim, the daddy of all wheels.
