are owners fitting on their S1 Exiges rhese days? as AO48s seem in short supply
If you’re looking for a '48-style tyre then I reckon Avon ZZR all the way. I really like the positive feel, they’re reasonbky priced and they last really well. We run then on the Caterhams too and they have soaked up an astonishing amount of punishment! I might treat myself to a fresh set for Anglesey
AD08R’s here Simon. Mainly because I use my car primarily on the road (when it’s not for sale!), and there’s lots of meat on them when new. Pretty good in all weathers…
I’m on ZZRs for all the reasons Ben says but have to say my next set will be AD08Rs. The avons are amazing but the car doesn’t slip as much. I’m hoping the Yokos will allow for a little more movement and therefore a little more fun without really pushing the cars (more likely my own) limits.
Just about to get AD08Rs for mine
AD08Rs here, very happy with them.
At the time blackcircles.com were cheapest (Not including fitting).
Cheers
Toby
Thanks all
Are the front AD08Rs available in the correct size of 195/50R16? - Blackcircles have just informed me they are not available and the Yoko website tells me - This tire isn’t available in 195/50-16. Are you chaps fitting a different size tyre on the front?
Yes 205/45 from memory.
Yes, that’s correct
Purchased a set of Toyo R888R as I wanted to stay true to original tyre sizes.
Price from Seriously Lotus seemed very good
Thank you Simon
They should be with you tomorrow
Big thanks Dave - super quick service - tyres delivered
