What Seats?

Thinking of changing the seats in my Exige for something a little more supportive any ideas?.Apparently Lotus supplied seats are very expensive.I would also like to keep the std seatbelts .CheersSteve

I would look at demon tweaks - they have a lot of seats by the major manufacturers - some of them as light as 2.5kg - I weighed my standard passenger seat the other day - it being out of the car whilst we looked at the ECU - it weighed 8.5kg…

Be careful about buying seats from the likes of Demon Tweeks etc, as many will not fit in the cabin as “pairs”, due to lack of space! Why invent the wheel, when Eliseparts can supply suitable alternatives?[This message has been edited by Mr Pesky (edited 10 June 2003).]

On a similar note - could anyone tell me how you idenfify the “sports seats” option in the Exige?Having never been in one myself, I was told that its one of the “must have” options, so I’d like to know if it has got them fitted or not, without relying on the seller telling me they have.Hopefully going hunting next weekend (Just window-licking for now, though). I was going to head over to PaulMatty…they had a (Laser?) Blue Exige, but they’ve sold it [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/frown.gif[/image]

They also have “Exige” emblazoned on them, unlike the standard seats.Happy hunting!
