Trying to find out what the red glue is called that holds most of the aluminium together in Lotus’s.
Does anyone know?
If so where can it be bought from and how much?

AFAIK the bonding process involves more than just glueing parts together. As is this is safety critical, it will be important to do it properly.
Have you asked the factory for the glue spec?
As I understand it it’s a Lotus-specific Ciba-Geigy adhesive. It’s epoxy-based but it ain’t just an off-the-shelf glue.
…and it gets over-baked as well.
