Not sure what is on it just now. Car has the 190 bhp upgrade should i De-Cat it as well?

De-catting was the way everyone went from new…I’m not so sure its the way to go now.

I think you should try and establish what you have to start with before considering a change (I hope that doesn’t sound like I’m talking down to you).

Get some pics and post up here - I would nearly guarantee that someone hear will identify it for you…

I don’t think that’s enough for a definite conclusion but someone else may want to hazard a guess…

With regard to the cat issue, there wasn’t really anything to replace a standard cat with other than a straight through pipe. Now you can get things such as:

and I’m pretty certain a non-catted car will not pass an emissions test…that’s not to say it wont get an MOT . This was never an issue in the first 3 years of overship.

Yeah no way i will go through an MOT with the de cat pipe. Cheers for puting the pic up.

Larini is the way to go - total no brainer.

I had several standard exhausts - they just rot eventually. Stainless steel should be more resilliant.
I paid �500 for a Larini exhaust for an S1 including cat replacement pipe. Just get garage to fit the cat for the MOT.
Larini sounds lovely.
Just watch out for delivery time - mine took 9 weeks
But it really was worth the wait.
